The mental health of our students is important to us at JHCS. Our therapist, Mrs. Grabert, provides helpful resources for our students and their families to promote healthy mindsets.
Samantha Grabert graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science—Family Studies emphasis. While attending UVU, Samantha created a program to support families with children with special needs. After completing her Bachelor’s degree, Samantha went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Samantha belongs to the Delta Kappa honors society.
Samantha is trained as an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma specialist. Currently, she is working with children in schools kindergarten to 12th grade on their emotional and behavioral goals as well as engages in private practice work. She has been involved with the Strengthening Families program as an instructor and writing curriculum, working with youth as drug educator and mentor, speaker for crisis intervention team for law enforcement, and creating and facilitating friend educational programs for students kindergarten to twelfth grade.
Samantha’s passion is assisting children, adults, and couples navigate through the ups and downs of life, find happiness and success in themselves and their relationships.
